Two Steps To Cleaner Air In Your Home

others Jan 30, 2017

In our pursuit of health, one of the key things we aim for is to reduce toxicity, and to improve the quality of the things we ingest, whether it be air, water or food. Air quality is such an important piece, and I think one that can be easily forgotten. For many of us, we don’t see it, therefore we don’t think about it. On the other end of the spectrum, people who have seasonal allergies, asthma, mold toxicity or any other condition that impacts their breathing might be acutely aware of it and impacted by it. Air purification is vital to your health, and there are two steps to cleaner air in your home.

1. Filtering the air
One of the factors in getting to clean air is filtration. This means taking small particles out of the air such as dander, dust, smoke, and other forms of pollution. Many basic air filters are ineffective because they only filter particles of 0.3 microns or larger. The IQAir Health Plus Pro filters particles as small as 0.003 microns, ensuring that it is truly filtering all harmful particles. It also filters viruses, bacteria and mold spores.

The key with the IQAir and what sets it apart from other air filters is the pre-filter, and the HyperHEPA filter that allows it to get the most miniscule of particles with a guaranteed efficiency of 99.5%.

This type of air filtration system is great for people with asthma and allergies. But what really gets me excited in looking at air quality control is the addition of step number two – purifying the air.

2. Purifying the air
Ok so filtering the air is a good first step – it removes many of the particles that can trigger respiratory issues. But there is another step that is equally if not more important – air purification.

Air Oasis Air Purifier Sanitizers do just that – they purify and sanitize the air. Beyond simply taking out the particles, they actually change the quality and purity of the air. They protect against mold, viruses, bacteria, chemicals, odors and more. They can be helpful for everything from overcoming odors associated with pets, all the way to neutralizing mold toxins.

The air purifier is the next step up from a filtration system. For people suffering from mold toxicity, I feel that this system is even more important than the HEPA filtration system. Ideally they would be used together. My husband has really severe allergy-induced asthma, plus we have two dogs that shed everywhere – so we opt for both.

The other thing that I think is so great is the Air Oasis Mobile Sanifier – this is an air purifier and surface sanitizer rolled into one, that works on areas up to 175 square feet. It fits in the palm of your hand – so it’s perfect for traveling, especially to stuffy, dank, smelly hotel rooms! It can also be used in your car or any other small space – but is a game-changer for people who travel a lot, especially when you notice your breathing changes

Visit the Pure Air Doctor website to check out the different models, and enter access code 114, which is my referral code. The model you choose really depends on the size of the area you need to treat, and is outlined in the description for each. I am doing a giveaway at the end of this month, so if you end up getting any one of these units, do send me an email and you’ll be entered to win one of the Air Oasis Mobile Sanifiers!!

You filter your water, you buy organic food, now it’s time to clean up the air you breathe!
